International Day Against Racism in Budapest

Zene a Rasszizmus Ellen (Music Against Racism) is holding a Comics Exhibition and party to celebrate the UN International Day Against Racism.
March 21st, 19.00 2011, at the EU Pont/ Millenáris (1024 Budapest, Lövőház u. 35).
The aim of this exhibition of Comics Against Racism is to draw attention to this occasion and to the absurdity of discrimination! The 21st was designated as the International Day Against Racism by the UN in 1966, as a memorial for the 69 victims of the Apartheid government in South Africe who were killed as part of a peaceful demonstration in 1960. The day intends to promote better understanding and acceptance between ethnic groups.
Comics Against Racism is an Italian-French-German initiaive to explore the themes of stereotypes and discrimination by using graphic design. The event will also include short films, music by Live Act Folk and a DJ.
